Dr. Tom Musili, chairman of the Sustainable Digital Development Alliance for Africa officially visited the DRC to boost the alliance works. He was hosted by the Alliance member Mr. Joël TEMBO VWIRA and his team. The visit was to advance the alliance's circularity flagship project - WEEE Centre in the DRC.

He meet the team and staff of the WEEE Centre DRC and the KIVU entrepreneurs, had scale up deliberations and how the alliance is working to mobilize efforts and resources to ensure all member states benefit from the initiative.

Dear members of the SDDA Secretariat, will tomorrow join the annual General Assembly of the PREVENT Waste Alliance on 17 November 2022, 1pm - 3pm CET! In the two-hour session we will participate discussing the following topics after the presenation session:

• Update on the future of the PREVENT Waste Alliance (including an interactive part)
• News from the PREVENT working groups
• The results of the PREVENT member survey which will be launched in the next few weeks

Join the #Clean4Africa, #Clean4All movement on 16 September 2023!

The Africa e-waste clean up day is a flagship initiative of the SDDA to help create awareness and mobilize households, corporate and government efforts to clean up e-waste stocks in offices, schools and homes across Africa leveraging the TWZ partnership platform.

This year Africa e-waste clean up day will coincide with the world clean up day on the 16 September. The SDDA members, partners and supporters will act together with clean up activities across Africa.

World Cleanup Day unites millions of volunteers, governments and organisations in 191 countries  to tackle the global waste problem and build up the new and sustainable world.
